I'm very interested in this story as no one can figure this out apparently, and the implications are huge depending on what scenario will eventually prove truthful. The information about forged bonds sure fits nicely with the FEDs fast and precise response claiming exactly that.

I wonder what you think of the argument that the men caught were perhaps trying to get caught - since they chose transportation and clothing that ensured they'd stick out to any and all customs officers?
